Timeline & Process for your New Roof

Nova (Roofing and Restorations) thanks you for your business and offers these tips and timeline for the installation of your new residential roof.  We take pride in ensuring your property is well cared for.

Most residential roofs can be completed in 1 day.

Prior to install a dumpster and materials delivery will be arranged with your schedule in mind and properly placed to be least disruptive.

 Consider moving lawn furniture and cars away from the perimeter of the house.

Expect an early arrival of the crew. The time will be discussed with you.

You and your family can remain safely inside your home. But, expect a lot of noise, so please reassure children and pets. Exit and entry may be temporarily restricted due to ladders and tarps.

The landscaping next to your home will be covered. Let us know if you have any special concerns.

Clean up is done with a magnetic sweeper to remove any nails. Debris will be picked up.

The dumpster will be picked up within a few days.

Weather can cause a delay.

The process

• Remove the old roof

• Clean the roof bed of nail and debris

• Inspect to assure there is no rot, holes or cracks. You will be notified of any concerns as to the integrity of the roof bed.

• Install underlayment***, then drip edge.

• Install your new beautiful roof covering, including ridge cap, flashing and ridge vents.
